During the Divine Winners Company Limited (DWCL) orientation programme for newly recruited staff, resource persons from the Kumasi Technical University, Department of Agripreneurship, were invited to facilitate a special training session aimed at strengthening staff capacity and broadening their understanding of modern agribusiness practices.
The facilitators, Dr Stephen Opoku Mensah and Mrs Irene Asante, delivered insightful and practical presentations designed to enhance the knowledge base and professional development of the new staff. Their sessions focused on key areas such as agripreneurship development, agricultural innovation, value addition in agribusiness, and evolving industry expectations.
They further explained how academic knowledge can be effectively translated into practical solutions within real-world agricultural business operations. Through practical illustrations and interactive discussions, participants were guided on how to identify opportunities within the agricultural value chain and apply innovative approaches to improve productivity and sustainability.
