DWCL AND KUMASI TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY ADVANCE FIELD TRIALS ON VITAL 05 FOR VEGETABLE CROPS
In this picture, the Chief Executive Officer of Divine Winners Company Limited, Mr Dacosta Osei Mensah, is seen presenting a parcel to Dr Stephen Opoku Mensah, Head of the Department of Agripreneurship at Kumasi Technical University.
The presentation forms part of DWCL’s ongoing collaboration with Kumasi Technical University to support research and field trials on the company’s product, Vital 05, an organic biostimulant designed to enhance agricultural productivity.
As part of this initiative, field trials will be conducted on selected vegetable crops including cabbage, lettuce, and other leafy vegetables. The trials are aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of Vital 05 in improving growth performance, yield, quality, and overall crop health under practical farm conditions.
Although there have been several field trials conducted by well-recognised public universities, including the University of Ghana, this current collaboration further strengthens the scientific validation process through continued applied research and comparative evaluation under different agro-ecological conditions.
The partnership is expected to generate valuable scientific data to guide product refinement and develop clear application recommendations for farmers.
Kumasi Technical University will provide technical expertise and research support through the Department of Agripreneurship, ensuring that the trials are conducted using structured and evidence-based methodologies.
Dr Stephen Opoku Mensah, Head of Department, expressed appreciation for the collaboration and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting applied agricultural research.
He emphasized that strong industry–academia partnerships are essential for developing sustainable and innovative agricultural solutions.
This initiative highlights
DWCL’s commitment to research-driven innovation, continuous product improvement, and the advancement of eco-friendly agricultural solutions through Vital 05, aimed at improving productivity and supporting farmers across various crop systems.
