During the Farmers’
Day celebration in the Volta Region, traditional chiefs made a grand entrance,
led by Togbe Tepre Hodo IV,
President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs. Their arrival brought a sense
of honor and unity to the event, as farmers and dignitaries welcomed them with
enthusiasm.
The highlight was the
pouring of libation, performed by Togbe
Tepre Hodo IV to honor the ancestors and seek blessings for a
bountiful harvest. The ceremony underscored the deep cultural heritage of the
Volta people, blending tradition with the celebration of agricultural
