The Volta Region
celebrates Farmers’ Day today, bringing together farmers, stakeholders, and top
government officials to honor agricultural achievements. President John Mahama attends the event
and commends farmers for their dedication to national food security.
Also present are the Minister of Agriculture, the Minister of Fisheries, Deputy Minister, the Foreign Minister, and other government
representatives, all seated to witness and support the celebration. Their
presence underscores the government’s commitment to promoting agriculture and
supporting the hardworking farmers of the region.
